Lindsey Null, 44, fatally struck on E Gentry Pkwy in Tyler

TYLER, TX – A 44-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries last Wednesday in an auto-pedestrian collision in Smith County, reports KLTV 7.

The accident occurred on East Gentry Parkway between East Vance Street and North Beckham Avenue in Tyler. This is about 100 miles southeast of Dallas.

Police say the victim was walking outside of a designated crosswalk when a car hit her.

The victim died after transport to an area hospital. Authorities identified her as Lindsey Null.

The driver involved in the collision also went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Drivers likely experienced delays along East Gentry while crews worked at the scene.

No charges have been announced thus far, and a full investigation is underway.
