Car slams into Stephenville home, killing Barbara Rocha and son
STEPHENVILLE, TX – A woman and her 7-year-old son died Sunday when a car crashed into their home in central Erath County, reports WFAA News 8.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., emergency teams were called to house on North Ollie Avenue near Green Street in the city of Stephenville, about 78 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Police haven’t yet determined what may have caused 18-year-old Gracie Yates to lose control of her vehicle and crash into the Stephenville home.
Two occupants of the home, identified as Barbara Rocha and her son Alex, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Authorities arrested Yates on charges that include negligent homicide.
