Solo motorcycle crash on Woodbrook St in Arlington kills 1

ARLINGTON, TX – One person died, and another sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident that happened last Thursday in Arlington.

According to Fox 4, the accident occurred on Woodbrook Street between Wildwood Drive and New Haven Street. This is just north of AT&T Stadium.

The initial investigation indicates that a motorcyclist may have swerved in the roadway to avoid hitting an animal. The bike then crashed into a parked vehicle, ejecting the motorcycle operator and a passenger.

Medics transported both victims to an area hospital. The motorcycle operator died three days later from injuries sustained in the crash. The passenger is expected to survive.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.

The investigation is ongoing.
