Michael Brown IDed as victim in ejection crash on TX-361
PORT ARANSAS, TX – A two-vehicle collision that happened along the highway in Port Aransas claimed the life of a 22-year-old man earlier this month.
According to KIITV 3 News, the accident occurred Saturday, March 14th, on TX-361 between Royal Palm Drive and Mustang Boulevard. This is south of Roberts Point Park.
Police say that the driver of Jeep was intoxicated when they lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a Tesla. The impact of the collision ejected a passenger in the Jeep, who has since been identified as Michael Brown.
Brown died in the hospital six days after the crash.
Authorities arrested the driver of the Jeep on a DWI charge.
No other injuries have been reported at this time.
A full investigation is underway.
