Good Samaritan struck, killed on US-67 after coming to another driver’s aid
DUNCANVILLE, TX – A person was killed Sunday morning after stopping to help at the scene of an earlier crash on U.S. Highway 67, authorities said.
Fox 4 reports that at about 6:30 a.m. Dallas County sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple crashes that had occurred in the southbound lanes of the highway near Main Street.
Investigators said the victim had exited their vehicle to assist others involved in one of the wrecks and was then struck by another vehicle. That person died at the scene.
