Woman killed, two children injured in single-vehicle accident on I-35
FORT WORTH, TX – A woman was killed early Monday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W in Fort Worth. Two children who were in the car were taken to a hospital, authorities said.
According to Fox 4, the wreck was reported about 12:30 a.m. near Westport Parkway.
Officials said the driver, an adult woman, died at the scene. Emergency crews pulled an infant and another young child from the vehicle and transported both to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the woman’s name.
Investigators have not said what led to the crash, and the extent of the children’s injuries has not been disclosed.
