Richard Dunham, 79, dead following two-vehicle crash in West Dallas 

WEST DALLAS, TX – A 79-year-old man, identified as Richard Dunham, was killed as a result of a two-vehicle collision that took place in West Dallas on Saturday, March 21.

Dunham, who was driving a Chevy Tahoe on Interstate 35 South, reportedly lost a tire, causing him to lose control and plow into another car, KVUE reports.

Dunham succumbed to his injuries at the scene. No injuries were reported for the other driver.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department and transportation crews shut down the northbound lanes along 8th Street to accommodate the scene clean-up process and overall investigation. All lanes have since reopened.

A full investigation is underway.
