Elementary School kid seriously hurt in E-bike collision in Aledo  

ALEDO, TX – A Stuard Elementary School student was seriously hurt as a result of an E-bike collision that happened on Monday, WFAA reports.

Preliminary details from the Texas Department of Public Safety reveal the student was riding an E-bike through Stuard’s parking lot when they were struck by the vehicle.

The student was left in serious condition and airlifted to Cook Children’s Medical Center.

DPS has not confirmed the child’s identity or the driver’s identity, and no citations/charges have been reported.

The cause of the collision has not been made immediately clear.

Aledo Independent School District said the crash happened on a teacher workday and student holiday. They are providing care and support to the student as they continue to recover.
