Pedestrian fatally struck by hit-and-run vehicle in Old East Dallas
DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian lost their life after getting struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in the Old East Dallas neighborhood on Sunday.
According to Dallas Morning News, the hit-and-run crash occurred before 3 a.m. on the 4100th block of North Central Expressway. The driver who struck the pedestrian did not render aid or call 911 and immediately fled the scene.
The pedestrian died from their injuries a short time later.
Officials have not released the victim’s name or confirmed what vehicle the suspect drove or what they look like.
