1 dead, several hospitalized following 6-vehicle collision in Fort Worth 

FORT WORTH, TX – One person died, and several were hospitalized following a six-vehicle collision on Interstate 35 West on Sunday, WFAA said. 

Fort Worth Police were dispatched to the southbound lanes along Interstate 20. Upon arrival, they declared one person dead at the scene, and EMS rushed several people to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officials shut down Interstate 35 West for several hours to accommodate the scene clean-up process and investigation period. 

Police have not released the decedent’s name or confirmed other details leading to the crash.
