Yolanda Garth lost life after U.S. 67 collision in Duncanville
DUNCANVILLE, TX – A 40-year-old woman named Yolanda Garth died after a U.S. 67 collision in Duncanville late last month.
The Dallas Morning News publicly confirmed the news on Friday April, 10, 2026. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office told the source that the incident unfolded around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29.
Deputies said Garth was driving on the highway and pulled over to render aid to a person involved in a separate crash. As Garth exited her vehicle, she was struck by another vehicle.
Garth died from her injuries and was remembered as a hairstylist at Labelle Braids & Beauty Supply in Dallas and a mother of three.
Deputies confirmed that the driver who struck Garth stayed at the scene and has no charges pending against them.
