Authorities did not specify the contributing factors leading to the collision. However, traffic camera footage from the Texas Department of Transportation showed a vehicle, which appeared to be a pickup truck, in the grassy median, while a gray sedan was seen on the shoulder and directly facing traffic.
At the time of the reporting, tow truck crews were working to tow away that pickup truck. The two people standing outside it appeared to be uninjured.
We are working to pinpoint the cause of the crash.
We will provide updates, which include reports of citations, after we learn more.
