Kiara Lewis, 32, killed in fight-turned-crash in Carrollton
CARROLLTON, TX – A 32-year-old woman, later identified as Kiara Lewis, died as a result of a fight that turned into a crash in a parking lot.
Dallas Police told KTEN that the incident unfolded before 4:30 a.m. on Friday on the 3300 block of East Trinity Mills Road.
Two groups got into an altercation inside a business, and then went outside and continued to fight with each other. One woman, out of those two groups, then got into a vehicle and struck several people, including Lewis, with her car.
Dallas Fire Rescue transported Lewis to a hospital, where she later died.
Two females and one male were also injured and opted to go to the hospital by means of private conveyance.
Police said they have not arrested the female suspect who reportedly struck Lewis and several other people, and are continuing to investigate the details behind this incident.
