Semi-truck crashes into ditch after colliding with car near Collinsville 

NEAR COLLINSVILLE, TX – A semi-truck crashed into a ditch after colliding with a car near Collinsville, according to KTEN.

The two-vehicle collision happened on U.S. 377 near Old Center Church Road. The Collinsville fire chief said the driver of the car was attempting to turn when they crashed into the semi-truck.

The truck driver told officials they did not see the approaching car prior to the collision.

Despite the nature of the two-vehicle collision, no one sustained any injuries.

Officials closed U.S. 377 for over an hour for the scene-clean-up process before reopening.

Authorities did not say if slick road conditions played a part in Tuesday’s crash and did not confirm if they cited the car driver.
