Driver’s life claimed after car plows into signal pole in North Dallas
NORTH DALLAS, TX – A driver’s life was claimed after he crashed his car into a signal pole in North Dallas on Thursday, according to Fox4News.
The single-vehicle collision happened before 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Frankford and Preston Roads. Dallas Police determined that the man went straight through the right turn lane, which caused him to drift off the road, and which resulted in the crash with the pole.
The impact of the single-vehicle collision left the driver entrapped or pinned, requiring extrication by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Firefighters freed the man, and EMS crews transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
The man’s identity has not been disclosed, and the crash is under investigation.
