2 hospitalized following sedan-truck crash in Plano
PLANO, TX – Two people were sent to the hospital following a crash between a sedan and an oil tanker truck in Plano on Friday, according to NBCDFW.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Northbound Windhaven Parkway and Eastbound Spring Creek Parkway. Plano police did not specify the events leading to the crash, but said the impact of the collision caused the tanker truck to overturn.
EMS crews transported two people to the emergency room for treatment, while Plano hazmat personnel, fire crews, and police stayed behind to contain the spill. They also took action to prevent that spill from entering the storm drain system.
The two hospitalized individuals appear to be in stable condition, police confirmed.
Officials are working to determine the events leading to the crash and have not listed citations.
