2 lives claimed, 2 hospitalized after single SUV collision along Gateway Park
DALLAS, TX – Two people died, and two others survived and were hospitalized following a single-SUV collision outside of Gateway Park on Monday.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. on the 2400th block of North Jim Miller Road, Fox4News reports. Preliminary details show that the driver of a Toyota SUV was going south on Jim Miller when they drifted off the road and crashed into a tree.
Dallas Fire Rescue arrived to find the significantly damaged SUV and four people trapped inside.
Fire crews used specialized tools to free the occupants and declared a man and woman dead at the scene.
Two others survived. One was left in critical condition, and another in serious condition, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
