William Werner, 52, loses life in crash with excavator in Rockwall 

ROCKWALL, TX – A 52-year-old man identified as William Werner was killed in a crash involving an excavator on Monday, Fox4News reports. 

Werner was working at a construction site in the area of Costa Verde Drive and Torrente Drive when he was run over by an excavator

Rockwell County deputies and EMS crews responded to the scene before 3:30 p.m. and declared Werner, from Kaufman, dead at the scene. 

Deputies started an investigation and have not said whether anyone will face charges.
