3 hospitalized after plane collision in Forney
FORNEY, TX – A pilot and their two passengers were hospitalized after a plane collision in Forney on Saturday, NBCDFW reports.
The plane crash happened in the area of Southwest Corner of Helms Trail and Akron Way. Texas Department of Public Safety arrived at the scene just before 12:30 a.m., and confirmed the three people involved were off-duty Dallas Police Officers.
Forney Police Department, DPS, and the FAA are working to determine the events leading to the crash and have not reported any citations at this time.
