Fort Worth PD arrests hit-and-run suspect after deadly crash on I35E

FORT WORTH, TX – Fort Worth Police arrested a hit-and-run suspect in connection with a deadly crash that claimed the life of a man on Interstate35East on Sunday. 

Police told WFAA the incident happened before 2 a.m. near East Ripley Street. Police said a male driver was involved in a previous crash that was said to be minor. The male driver exited his vehicle and was in the process of inspecting the damage when he was struck by another vehicle. 

The driver of the aforementioned vehicle fled the scene and was later found. Police did not specify what charges the hit-and-run suspect could face, nor have they released the victim’s name.
