TxDOT closes majority of IH-35 East due to traffic collision 

DALLAS, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation had to close the majority of Interstate Highway 35 East due to a serious traffic collision on Thursday. 

TxDOT reported the crash at 2:32 p.m. and said all traffic lanes were blocked, although officials left the right shoulder, two left shoulders, and an exit ramp open. 

The severity of injuries has not been reported at this time. 

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
