Corinth PD investigates fatal hit-and-run crash on I-35E
CORINTH, TX – Corinth police are investigating the details behind a fatal hit-and-run crash that took place on Interstate35 East along Corinth Parkway on Tuesday.
According to NBCDFW, it appears that a driver of a vehicle crashed into a pedestrian around 3 a.m. on the 4900th block of Interstate35East.
Officials had to shut down the northbound lanes and redirect traffic towards the nearest exit.
Closures lasted for about three hours, starting at 5 a.m. and ending around 8 a.m.
Police have not provided additional information regarding the fatal hit-and-run crash or released the victim’s name.
