Truck driver injured in crash with train in Denton
DENTON, TX – A semi-truck driver was injured in a crash involving a train that happened on Wednesday, NBCDFW reports.
Denton Police responded to the scene before 12:45 p.m. and noted that the collision blocked access to Nottingham Drive, Audura Lane/ Old North Road, Cooper Creek Road, and Fishtrap Road.
Police urged drivers to find alternative routes to allow crews to clean up debris from the crash, remove the truck, and restore safe road conditions.
The truck driver was the only injured occupant.
Police reported no citations and are working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
