Man’s life claimed in collision involving big rig in Grayson Co. 

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX – A man’s life was claimed in a collision involving a big rig that took place on U.S. 82 on Saturday, KTEN reports. 

The incident occurred before 1 a.m. Preliminary details reveal the man driving a passenger vehicle had crashed into the truck, causing his vehicle to go underneath it. The man succumbed to his injuries as a result. 

Texas Department of Public Safety, Southmayd police, and Whitesboro and Sadler fire crews responded to the scene. Authorities shut down the area for several hours before reopening it at 5:30 a.m.
