Rachel Davis, 57, killed in two-car crash in downtown Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – A person later identified as Rachel Davis by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office was killed in a collision in downtown Fort Worth on Friday.

The two-car crash occurred before 9 p.m. Fort Worth police told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Davis, 57, was one of the drivers who collided with another vehicle at the intersection of East Lancaster Avenue and Ward Avenue.

EMS crews rushed Davis to John Peter Smith Hospital, where she later died.

Fort Worth Police did not specify whether Davis or the other driver caused the crash, and are actively working to determine whether speed, impairment, or other factors caused the collision.
