Hit-and-run driver causes crash at East Fort Worth home

EAST FORT WORTH, TX – A hit-and-run suspect struck two vehicles in front of an East Fort Worth home. 

NBCDFW said the hit-and-run collision occurred early Sunday morning on the 900th block of Haynes Road. Home security footage showed the hit-and-run suspect, operating a black pickup truck, dropping off a woman, who stood outside, before rear-ending a white car and fleeing the scene. 

The white car’s bumper fell off, and the car itself sustained significant rear-end damage. The suspect also allegedly hit another vehicle, which was not seen on video. 

Rosalinda Garcia, one of the home occupants, said the suspect also struck the exterior of the home, resulting in damage toone of the bricks, which also cracked one of the interior walls. 

No one was injured, but Garcia says her family took the car bumper and turned it into Fort Worth police, who are investigating the details behind the hit-and-run collision.
