DWI charges possible for driver in connection with fatal rollover crash, Dallas PD says

DALLAS, TX – One driver may face possible DWI charges in connection with a rollover crash that killed one person and injured two others on Sunday.

According to FOX4News, the collision happened before 2:45 a.m. on Interstate 30 East near the Ferguson Road exit. Dallas County deputies believe a driver of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck lost control of their vehicle while trying to exit the freeway.

The impact of the crash led one truck passenger to die from their injuries at the scene, while two other passengers were injured.

EMS crews transported one passenger to a hospital for treatment. At this time, they appear to be in stable condition. The other injured passenger refused to be taken to a hospital.

Deputies also detained the pickup truck driver and are investigating whether they were intoxicated at the time of the crash.

No other details, including the victim’s name, were added.
