Hit-and-run suspect sought in fatal pedestrian crash in Dallas’ Design District
DALLAS, TX – Dallas police are currently on the hunt for a suspect in connection with a fatal pedestrian crash that happened in the Design District on Wednesday.
According to Fox4News, at around 4:30 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35 North along Oak Lawn Avenue.
The driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim or calling 911.
The pedestrian unfortunately died from their injuries. Police have not released their name at this time or confirmed why they were on the interstate.
Officials briefly closed the area for investigation purposes and have reopened all lanes since.
Police are actively working to pinpoint what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.
