Traffic snarls on U.S. 75 in Plano due to 8-vehicle crash

PLANO, TX – Traffic delays lingered on U.S. 75 North due to an eight-vehicle crash that happened on Thursday.

Plano police told WFAA that the incident unfolded when one vehicle stopped unexpectedly, leading to a chain-reaction collision involving eight vehicles.

Texas Department of Transportation said crews had to redirect traffic toward Legacy Drive to accommodate clean-up efforts.

All northbound lanes have since been cleared.

Police have not reported any injuries or citations and are actively working to piece together the events leading to the crash.

We will continue to monitor for incoming developments and issue updates once we learn more.
