Lisa Martinez, 42, critically injured in hit-and-run crash in West Dallas

WEST DALLAS, TX – A 42-year-old woman is in critical condition as a result of a hit-and-run crash.

Fox4News first reported the incident on Sept. 10 and said it happened before 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24. The source said the woman, identified as Lisa Martinez, was riding her bicycle on North North Westmoreland Road near Fort Worth Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle.

The driver did not render aid to Martinez or call 911 and fled the scene.

A female passerby, who was driving north on North Westmoreland, saw Martinez lying in the southbound lanes and called 911.

First responders rushed to the scene and transported Martinez to a hospital.

The hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
