Pedestrian’s life claimed in crash involving minivan on I-20 in Dallas
DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a crash involving a minivan on Interstate 20 in Dallas on Monday, Fox4News said.
The crash happened after 11:45 p.m. on I-20 East near Wheatland Road. The woman was trying to cross the highway when she was struck by a minivan. Subsequently, she died from her injuries.
The minivan driver told police he was unable to avoid a crash. Police confirmed that the woman was at fault and said the motorist is not expected to face charges.
A wheelchair was also located at the scene, although it’s not immediately clear whether the woman used a wheelchair when the collision occurred.
