Habib Dwabe, 18, fatally struck by two vehicles in South Fort Worth 

SOUTH FORT WORTH, TX – An 18-year-old man was killed after he was struck by two vehicles in South Fort Worth on Friday, NBCDFW reports. 

The incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. on the 4700th block of South Freeway. A crash occurred. An 18-year-old man, later identified as Habib Dwabe, was driving, witnessed the initial crash, and pulled over to help those impacted by the collision. 

Dwabe exited his vehicle and provided aid to the involved occupants, standing in front of their damaged vehicle when he was struck by another vehicle. 

Dwabe went into the air, landed in the northbound lanes, and was struck by a second vehicle, and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. 

Police did not specify the physical condition of the individuals involved in the original crash or say whether the first driver who struck Dwabe with their vehicle was cited or could face charges. 

Police are actively working to determine the factors behind the crash.
