Gary Burk, 74, dead after five-vehicle collision in Gainesville 

GAINESVILLE, TX – A 74-year-old man died following a five-vehicle collision in Gainesville on Friday, KTEN reports. 

The crash happened at the intersection of East Highway 82 and FM 371. Gainesville police determined that the 74-year-old man, who drove a Ford F-150 pickup truck, tried to cross the highway and was struck by another vehicle. 

EMS crews rushed the 74-year-old man, Gary Burk, a Gainesville local, to a hospital, where he later died. 

Police have not reported any arrests and are continuing their investigation.
