Police shuts down U.S. 75 North in Denison due to two-semi-truck collision

DENISON, TX – Law enforcement had to shut down U.S. 75 North on Tuesday due to a two-semi-truck collision.

Police told KTEN that the incident happened south of State Highway 91, between exit 71 and 72. Officers said one semi-truck merged from the shoulder and onto the highway and was rear-ended by another semi-truck.

The impact caused one of the truck’s trailers to partially detach and block several lanes of traffic.

Despite the nature of the collision, no one sustained life-threatening injuries.
