Victim of fatal Grapevine wreck identified as Anthony Wayne Hunt

GRAPEVINE, TX – The victim of a fatal wreck in Grapevine early Friday morning has now been identified by authorities.

A Fox 4 News report said that the man killed was 38-year-old Anthony Wayne Hunt.  The single-vehicle accident took place at about 6:12 a.m. in the 700 block of southbound N. State Highway 121 near Coppell Road.

A preliminary investigation indicated that Hunt was driving on SH-121 when his vehicle went off the road in the center median between the north and southbound lanes.  The vehicle hit a guardrail, went about 35 feet down an embankment, and ended up near railroad tracks in the area.

Hunt was found dead at the scene.  No one else was in the car.

The Grapevine Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
