2-vehicle head-on crash involving school bus injures 8
MINEOLA, TX – Medics took two adult drivers and six students to the hospital Monday after a school bus collided with another vehicle in Mineola, reports KETK.
The incident happened around 7:15 a.m. just north of Mineola Primary School on Loop 564, which is just southwest of Mineola Club Lake.
The investigation indicates that, for unknown reasons, a school bus carrying twelve students veered onto the other side of the roadway and collided head on with a Nissan Versa.
Authorities say that six of the students sustained minor injuries, for which they were briefly hospitalized.
The two drivers were treated for non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
