Plano motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle crash at 14th and N Ave

PLANO, TX – A 22-year-old man died Monday night after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at a Plano intersection, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of 14th Street and N Avenue, in the Oglesby Place neighborhood.

The investigation thus far indicates that the eastbound motorcyclist struck the passenger side of a westbound Toyota Tundra as the latter vehicle turned left from 14th Street onto N Avenue.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital, where he later died.

It is unclear at this time if the driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries.

Police suspect that speed may have been a factor in the collision, which remains under investigation.
