Man charged in May hit-and-run that killed teen in North Richland Hills

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – Police have charged a man in connection to a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened in North Richland Hills last month, reports Fox 4.

On the afternoon of May 16th, a 16-year-old pedestrian died after a vehicle struck them in the area of 8600 Airport Freeway eastbound, which is near Bedford Euless Road.

The driver involved in the vehicle fled the scene of the accident.

On June 3rd, police arrested 32-year-old Fernando Peralta-Berrios in connection to the accident. Peralta-Berrios faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, as they are a minor.

The investigation is ongoing.
