Gabriel Alvarado killed, passenger hurt in Kingsville crash

KINGSVILLE, TX – A 40-year-old man died, and one person sustained injuries Friday in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Kelberg County, reports KIIII 3 News.

The incident happened at night along FM 1355 on the north side of Kingsville. This is about 40 miles southwest of Corpus Christi.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a driver lost control of his vehicle while distracted, left the roadway, and crashed into a fence. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to roll, killing the driver at the scene.

Authorities identified the victim as Gabriel Alvarado of Bishop.
