Aciel Fernandez, 40, killed in 3-vehicle crash in N Austin

AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and two people were badly hurt last Friday in a multi-vehicle collision at a busy north Austin intersection, reports KXAN.

The accident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Anderson Lane and Cameron Road, which is in the Coronado Hills area.

Police say the wreck involved a pickup truck, a car, and a van. They’ve not shared any details regarding the cause of the crash or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.

Authorities pronounced a passenger from the car deceased at the scene of the collision. They identified the victim as 40-year-old Aciel Fernandez.

Medics transported two additional passengers from the car to an area hospital with serious injuries.

No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.
