Christian Moreno IDed as victim in Corpus cement truck rollover

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A 24-year-old man died Tuesday in a collision involving a commercial motor vehicle on the southeast side of Corpus Christi, reports KIITV 3 News.

Some time before 9 a.m., emergency crews responded to a major accident at the intersection of Yorktown Boulevard and Flour Bluff Road, which is on the west side of Waldron Field NOLF.

Police haven’t shared any details about what happened except to say that a cement truck overturned and that the driver ultimately sustained fatal injuries.

It’s unclear if what might have caused the crash and if any other vehicles were involved.

Authorities identified the deceased truck driver as Christian Moreno.

Drivers likely experienced delays in the area of Yorktown and Flour Bluff while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked at the scene.
