James Heath IDed as victim in College Station solo crash
COLLEGE STATION, TX – An elderly man sustained fatal injuries Saturday morning in a single-vehicle collision at a major intersection in central Brazos County.
According to KBTX 3, the accident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wellborn Road and Harvey Mitchell Parkway South, which is just southeast of Texas A&M.
Police haven’t yet provided any details regarding the circumstances of the crash except to say that the victim died shortly after transport to an area hospital.
Authorities identified the victim as James Conrad Heath of College Station.
There do not appear to have been any other passengers in the car at the time of the wreck.
Officials closed the intersection Saturday morning while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
