Collision at Bar W Ranch, Ronald Reagan claims Daniel Longoria

LEANDER, TX – A 58-year-old man sustained fatal injuries Saturday in a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Williamson County.

According to KVUE, the accident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Bar W Ranch Boulevard in Leander, which is approximately 26 miles northwest of Austin.

Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, the number of people involved, or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.

A Georgetown man, identified as Daniel Longoria, died in the collision.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.

Officials closed Ronald Reagan Boulevard in the area of the crash for almost six hours while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked at the scene.
