Sedan strikes, kills Andres Estrada near S 21st St, Primrose Dr
WACO, TX – An elderly man sustained fatal injuries in an auto-pedestrian crash that happened last Wednesday in McLennan County, reports KCENTV 6.
Shortly after 10 p.m., emergency crews responded to a serious accident on South 21st Street near Primrose Drive in south Waco. This is southwest of Baylor University.
Police say that a 79-year-old man was walking on our near South 21st Street when he was hit by a northbound Chevy Impala.
The victim, since identified as Andres Estrada, died after transport to an area hospital.
The driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
No charges have been announced thus far.
An investigation is underway.
