Frisco crash involving Jeep pulling sled claims Elizabeth Angle

FRISCO, TX – One teen died, and another sustained serious injuries this weekend in a horrific sledding accident in east-central Denton County, reports Fox 4 News.

Emergency crews responded Sunday afternoon to a major incident in the area of Legacy Drive and Main Street in the Legacy Crossing area of Frisco, which is about half an hour north of Dallas.

Police say that a 16-year-old male was pulling two teen girls on a sled with his Jeep when the sled collided with a curb and a tree.

One of the girls, since identified as 16-year-old Elizabeth Angle of Wakeland High School, died after transport to an area hospital.

The other sled passenger, also a 16-year-old girl, went to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
