Motorcycle crash at TX-464, Thrasher Ln claims Craig Brown

MONAHANS, TX – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Friday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in Ward County, reports First Alert 7.

The crash occurred early in the morning on TX-464, or Loop Road, near Thrasher Lane. This is near Monhans and Southwest Sandhill.

Police say that a Dodge Charger and a motorcycle collided when the driver of the Charger made a U-turn into the path of the motorcycle.

The unrestrained motorcyclist, identified as Craig Brown, died after transport to an area hospital.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident, and no charges have been announced.

A full investigation is underway.
