42-year-old man fatally struck on I-35 near W Cesar Chavez

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A fatality has been reported in connection to an apparent auto-pedestrian crash along the interstate in downtown San Antonio.

According to News 4 SA, the accident happened early Friday in the area of I-35 and West Cesar Chavez Boulevard, which is just east of UTSA Downtown Campus.

Police haven’t indicated if the victim was walking along the interstate or if he may have fallen from a vehicle before he was struck. Additionally, authorities haven’t yet commented on a suspect, nor have they released the victim’s name to the public.
