Auto-bicycle crash near N Solms Rd claims Ryan Furnas, 49
NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – A train struck and killed a San Antonio bicyclist last Tuesday night in southeast Comal County, reports msn.
Shortly before 11 p.m., emergency crews responded to a fatal accident on the the tracks over North Solms Road in southwest New Braunfels.
The investigation indicates that an oncoming train hit Ryan Furnas as he was riding on or along the tracks.
Authorities pronounced Furnas deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were announced in connection to the accident, an no charges have been announced thus far.
