Sara Gonzalez claimed in fiery solo collision near Planview

HALE CO., TX – A 27-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries last Thursday in a single-vehicle crash in northeast Hale County, reports KCBD 11.

The accident occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. on FM 400 between Plainview and Petersburg and about 35 miles northeast of Lubbock.

Authorities declared Gonzalez deceased at the scene of the crash.

There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the accident, and police aren’t yet sure what caused Gonzalez to lose control of her car.
