Bicyclist fatally struck by vehicle in Garland’s Broadway Village 

GARLAND, TX – A bicyclist lost their life after they were struck by a vehicle while trying to cross the street in the Broadway Village neighborhood on Saturday. 

The bicycle-vehicle crash happened on the 5400th block of southbound Broadway Boulevard, according to WFAA

Police did not announce any lane closures, but told drivers to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. 

Police have not released the victim’s name and are actively working to determine the cause of the bicycle-vehicle crash.
